Marshall at the International Print Center New York

University of Hawaii at Hilo Art Department Chairman Michael Marshall is one of 72 artists featured in New Prints 2012/Summer at International Print Center New York through July 27. Shahzia Sikander, MacArthur Fellow (2006), judged the exhibition from a pool of 2,500 submissions.

In addition to the many independent artists included in this show, the presses, publishers and printshops represented in this summer’s exhibit include The Art Department Print Studio at UH-Hilo.

International Print Center New York is a nonprofit institution founded to promote the greater appreciation and understanding of the fine art print worldwide. Through innovative programming, it fosters a climate for the enjoyment, examination and serious study of artists’ prints — from the old master to the contemporary. IPCNY depends upon public and private donations to support its programs. For more information, visit www.ipcny.org.
